With the continuing chatter about biomimetics, this interesting gell-based antfarm shown over on ThinkGeek would seem an excellent way to observe the little boogers. Not only is this an educational item (well, maybe… maybe not), it looks cool as hell with the correct lighting; almost like a frozen Lava Lamp complete with alien explorers probing around inside. Beauty. Wonder if the corporate cube farm will eventually become something like this. Biomimetics. It’s the wave of future. Designers take note.
