Via the very interesting Architectradure blog<\/a> comes this excellent bit of information. I’ve been searching around the net for people working towards both spimes and, more importantly, kirkyan-like devices. Well, here’s someone: Joshua Lifton<\/a> has been working on sensing devices for a number of years (some nice research) and has expanded that into Second Life with what he’s calling the “Dual Reality Lab” (Link)<\/a>.<\/p>\n I’ve previously mentioned similar kinds of efforts, such as vCrib (reLink<\/a>), but Lifton’s sensors are especially sophisticated.
