{"id":1317,"date":"2007-06-20T20:30:27","date_gmt":"2007-06-21T00:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.rebang.com\/?p=1317"},"modified":"2007-06-26T10:27:33","modified_gmt":"2007-06-26T14:27:33","slug":"susan-wu-talks-virtual-goods","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.rebang.com\/?p=1317","title":{"rendered":"Susan Wu Talks Virtual Goods"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having recently surfed to a <a href=\"http:\/\/reality.org\/2007\/06\/18\/welcome-to-the-1st-ever-virtual-goods-summit\/\">new post over on Susan Wu&#8217;s blog (Link)<\/a> discussing the upcoming <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vgsummit.com\/\">Virtual Goods Summit<\/a>, I almost bypassed her contribution to today&#8217;s TechCrunch, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techcrunch.com\/2007\/06\/20\/virtual-goods-the-next-big-business-model\/\">&#8220;Virtual Goods: the next big business model&#8221; (Link)<\/a>, when I saw it mentioned by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.raphkoster.com\/2007\/06\/20\/susan-wu-on-virtual-goods\/\">Raph Koster&#8217;s blog<\/a> (thanks, Raph).<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nI&#8217;m not going to summarize it, extract anything from it, or otherwise give anyone reason to <em>not<\/em> read it, because it&#8217;s definitely worth reading. It&#8217;s also nice that it comes right after my post on the virtual aspects of currency and how reg&#8217;lar folk might start comin&#8217; round (<a href=\"http:\/\/blog.rebang.com\/?p=1315\">reLink<\/a>). Well, a very few. Maybe. Anyway, trackback visitors might find that previous entry a worthwhile tangent.<\/p>\n<p>One thing though&#8230; when you read Ms. Wu&#8217;s post, keep two things in mind: Experience and Reputation.
