Some blog entries seem better with clever titles, and some just plain need to keep it simple and straightforward. If you’re an Industrial Designer, especially in the playground industry, you recognize the pink stuff: home insulation foam. Only this ain’t no toy.

Michael Frumin (the guy behind the OGLE capture tool inspired by my own videostream ripping) sent an email out to a few interested parties this morning with a link to the Recursive Instruments blog (Link), which is the source of the above image; a CNC’d section of the the Second Life virtual world. Yet another interesting entry over on WorldChanging, this time penned by Alex Steffen. The post, “Future-Making” (Link), touches on what “reBang” is really all about now.

As part of my transition to No Feed, I’m attempting to “flush” some of those old posts that were ignored by Technorati and others out to the net so that they still show up in a keyword search (outside of Google, which seems to capture everything). I’m unsure if my efforts will work to be honest. I’ve tried once already, but my Bloglines test reader and a Technorati search are indicating failure. I’m going to assume that I didn’t leave the modification in place long enough for the bots to do their work, so this is the last post for today and we’ll see if I can get those old posts out there.

Apologies in advance if I somehow flood anyone with unwanted stuff.

When I saw this over on Inhabitat (Link), I thought it was a joke. Then I seemed to recall something about this or something similar elsewhere. Now I don’t know. But it does get me thinking. That’s a good thing on a stormy weekend.
